Giant telecommunications company Safaricom has responded to complains by customers regarding allegations that the service provider is irregularly cashing on customers’ airtime.
Through their official twitter account, Safaricom earlier today released a statement responding to customer concerns.
‘‘Our attention is drawn to a number of customer concerns relating to involuntary subscriptions to premium Rate Subscription Services. We continue to investigate these cases on a case – on-case basis and have reached successful resolutions with customers who have alerted us of such cases.” read part of the statement
“We have noted social media complaints that a number of subscribers have been erroneously subscribed to the ‘Cheza Games’ service without their knowledge.
In an abrasive online engagement, Twitter users lashed at the company for allegedly robbing them of airtime through involuntary subscriptions, seeking explanations of how fast Safaricom bundles end.
