This week we bring you a little secret of the kitchen about making Indian Bajia. A simple yet delicious snack packed with flavor. As the name suggests, it’s an Indian goodie which is more enjoyable when hot and they can be served with tamarind sauce.
Ingredients
500g gram flour
One green pepper (chopped)
Sliced onion
3 tbsp baking powder
Salt
Water
Cooking oil
Optional Ingredients
1tbsp Grated black pepper
1/2 tbsp Cummin powder
2 fingers Crushed garlic
Procedure
Place gram flour in a bowl, add onion, green pepper, salt, baking powder and all the optional ingredients.
Add water gradually and mix until you have a thick and elastic mixture.
Hit oil in medium heat.
Fetch the mixture using a table spoon or the edges of your fingers (cuddled).
Deep fry and turn the bhajia frequently until they turn golden brown.
