Mombasa is gearing up to host the first sisters’ annual Islamic conference where delegates are expected to attend a day-long forum that aims to chart the way forward for Muslim sisters in the country.
The convention organized and managed by the Muslim Students Association from the Technical University of Mombasa (TUM) will be the first one of its kind in the country.
With the theme “A productive Muslimah” organizers hope to stimulate a great debate with interactive sessions that hope to raise a new curtain aimed at appreciating the role of Muslim sisters within the fundamental tenets of Islam.
