As Muslims all over the world continue to mark the Eid celebrations, a university student from Egypt has come up with good news to members of the Luo community who profess the Islamic faith but are not conversant with the Arabic language.
The student, Professor Omar Al Bashir has translated the entire Quran from Arabic to Luo, the first ever in East and Central Africa. The translation has already been approved and certified by the Supreme Council of Kenya Muslims- SUPKEM.
