In its August 1st 1996 issue, Ad-Da'wah Magazine reported the story of Umm Saalih who completed the memorisation of the magnificent Quran at the age of 82 years. She memorised the first three parts of the Quran during her childhood while the remaining 27 parts took her about 70 years. As a widow of seven children she had a lot of responsibilities in providing for her young family, yet the love for the Qur’an never left the heart and mind of Umm Saalih. It seemed her focus in her entire life was about achieving this milestone dream.
